Halloween

Wow! It's been long time since I actually celebrate Halloween. Mainly because that was in the past of Christan's way of saying don't celebrate Halloween cuz ya supporting EVILS. First time, I decided, I'm tired of that B and S. I felt freedom and sense of what I want to do. After all, I decided to do what I want for Halloween and enjoy it. I will double check to make sure that Halloween party is still continue and not cancel. I hope...
In meantime, my parents and I are going to AZ. We got ourselves apartment and rental SUV. Speaking of SUV, there's DVD and GPS. (Did I mention that before? I can't remember cuz I did mention several times to my friends.)

Oh, I also found out that the internet will but cut off Monday morning. Something that I'm not looking forward to. But there's a bright side, there will be internet at the apartment in AZ for one more month.

My parents and I are doing okay. Of course, there's a small fight with my mom but that's typical mother and daughter's quarrel. Nothing new. Reese is doing good. Oreo is sweet as ever and Tom-Tom is grumpy old cat but they are all doing fine.

One thing is that I just can't wait to get things straighten out with college thing.

Hello!

Well, the last day of using internet and cable is this Monday. Oh well, there's nothing I can do about it. Beside, my parents need to save money so they can afford to repair the A/C before the summer start next year.

Look at the bright side, I'm able to keep my t-mobile to keep up the communication and what's going on. Plus, I will visit library from time to time. There's another bright side, since I'm going to AZ, it has internet. So I can use it, too for one more month. We will be leaving November 1st.

Here's another news, we got the SUV. It has GPS (direction giving in the vichle) and DVD player. So that way, if ever get bored, we (except driver) will be able to watch some movies. I'm so glad about that part. It's nice to have technology nowadays.

By the way, notice that I tend to copy and paste it?? Reason why I did that is because I hate it every time when I want to go back to the certain website and it's no longer there, anyway. It's really annoying. That's why I did copy and paste it everytime. Especailly if I'm interesting in something and want to keep it.

Oreo, the black and white kitty, the vet said that he's 6 months old. We will wait until after the AZ to come home and have him nuetured/spray remove. The vet said that he looks fine. That he doesn't seem sick. One of the assistance said that "I wish I found him, he's so sweet!" When the vet gave him the shots. He meowed as he in pain and roll over as his way of saying pity me. He didn't bite nor stratch. He's really a sweet kitty.

How to calm A Nervous Employer

Respectivly from the website... Just click on the title.

How To Calm A Nervous Employer

March 1, 2006

One of the trickiest parts of the deaf employment puzzle is dealing with the concerns and apprehensions of hearing employers. Because deafness is so rare in the general population, meeting, interviewing and hiring a deaf employee is a new experience for most hearing managers. They're often nervous and unsure - they've read or heard scary stories about interpreting and accommodation costs, lawsuits, communication problems. Even after being convinced you qualify for a position, there may be some hesitation.
Every job applicant expects questions about their experience, ability and knowledge. Deaf and hard of hearing applicants may get additional questions related to communication. There are managers who genuinely want to hire deaf and hard of hearing employees, but they need help to understand how to make it work out for everyone involved.
The better prepared you are to answer their questions, the better your chances of getting the job.
So how do you prepare? First you need to decide what you want to say, and then think about how you want to say it.
Fortunately, many others have been down this path before, and you can learn from them. Once again, the Internet is your friend.
For example, copywriter Pat Pawling has a page on his website that explains what VRS is, how it works, and how it benefits both employers and deaf and hard of hearing workers. It's colorful, well designed, and easy to read and understand. Points are made clear with photos and illustrations. It's exactly what a prospective employer needs - clarity and reassurance that there are effective communication tools for the workplace. You'll need the free Adobe Reader program to view and print it.
Hearing people everywhere are often fascinated by ASL and they're eager to learn when the opportunity arises. You can make that interest and enthusiasm work for you. Point your new boss and co-workers to the free, online ASL University to help them get a sense of what ASL is all about. The site won't teach them how to sign, but it can help keep their interest alive while you teach them a little bit each day. Typically, some of your co-workers will lose interest after a while, and some will really get into it and learn a lot. The key thing is to keep encouraging them.
It's always helpful to have a signing, hearing contact in a hearing workplace, especially if they can keep you informed about office politics.
One of the best overall guides I've seen for employers is on a deaf services agency website in Manitoba, Canada. Called Including Deaf People in the Workplace, It includes a section on speechreading, which is great for when you get that inevitable question - "Can you lipread?". It's always an awkward question to answer, because you know it usually means the person asking would really prefer to continue talking rather than adjust to a new method of communicating. This section does a good job of explaining the limitations of lipreading/speechreading, and how to use it effectively with hard of hearing workers who can make the most of it.
Another excellent guide, titled The Supervisor's Guide to Effective Communication with a Deaf Employee is from the Deaf Community Advocacy Network - DeafCan - in Michigan. An excerpt:
BEING LEFT OUTThere is nothing more frustrating to Deaf employees than to see a conversation, laughing, an announcement and when they ask what it is all about, they are told, "It wasn't important." Let that valuable decision be placed in the hands of the Deaf employee. Deaf employees need access to what is happening in the world just like hearing employees do. And, while the supervisor may think nothing of hearing employees "chatting" as they work, or listening to the radio, Deaf employees are often reprimanded for "chatting" with fellow Deaf employees.
SOLUTION: Take time to "fill in" the Deaf employee. A lot of office "talk" is important.
Another approach - Thomas David Yim, a deaf job seeker in California, created his own Frequently Asked Questions page for potential employers. One example:
How can you get my attention when you see me?
Yelling is not necessary; instead, you can tap my shoulder, ask someone to tap my shoulder, pound on a floor or knock on a table to make vibrations for me to feel, or flicker a light.
Finally, it may be helpful to quote Canadian Supreme Court Justice Rosalie Abella, who said:
Sometimes equality means treating people the same despite their differences, and sometimes it means treating them as equals by accommodating their differences.

Canine Taboos

Shit! was first thing in my mind when I read it. Espeically when I do give Reese, my dog, grapes once in a while. GEEZ! I only knew that chocolate can kill dogs but grapes can give kidney failure to dogs.

Did you know how dangerous the following common foods are to your Dog?

1. Alcohol It depresses brain function and can cause a coma. So no pina coladas for Fido - Not for fun and not by accident with party leftovers.

2. Coffee The caffeine in a cup of java is a methylxanthine compound that can increase a dog's heart rate and trigger seizures.

3. Chocolate The chemical theobromine can be fatal. Just three ounces of dark or seven of milk can bring on vomiting in a 50 pound dog.

4. Macadamia nuts Experts have yet to determine why just a few of these nuts can produce tremors, even temporary paralysis, in a dog's hind legs.

5. Garlic Garlic breaks down a dog's red blood cells, leading to anemia and possible kidney failure from leaking hemoglobin.

6. Onions Their damage to canine hemoglobin is cumulative, so small tastes over time can be worse then wolfing down the whole bulb.

7. Grapes Toxicologists have found that grapes and raisins can cause renal failure.

They're still trying to learn why. Source: National Geographic Magazine - October 2007 page 30. http://magma.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/2007-10/dog-poisons.html

October??

Oh my goodness! Time sure flies so fast! I've been busy here and there lately. I didn't have the time to check my emails nor reading blogs lately. Plus, One side of the house have no A/C, Yeah, we have two seperate A/C. Thank goodness, it is not our bedroom side. Whew! Or we will be hot as we are in hell. How in the world are you able to sleep in the heat?

Well, like I said, it's NOT in our bedrooms. A/C is working just fine. Strange about the internet isn't working right in my bedroom. However, other side of the house, the internet works just fine. Werid. Just plain werid. Something tells me it's seperate thing.

Sadly, there isn't cool days in the autumn, lately. Although I did hoping and praying for it. The heat seems to take it over. I guess Mother's Nature is in the heat nowadays.

Tonight, it is finally cool-off, just alittle bit cuz of rain. So I can spend some time on the internet alittle longer.

Here's another bad news, possible we are not able to go to Azorina. Well, Mom and I can't go but dad have to. Because everything is booked. Nothing's available, now. People likes to have vactation there more and more during the Falls and winters especially from the Canada. So, everything is booked up. Also, we couldn't rent a mini-van, either. Unless ya want the mini-van that consume alot of gas which isn't worth it.

Here's the last bad news, Sorry for more sad news, my parents will not be paying internet end of this week. But not only internet but cable, too. So that means, no more Sci-Fi, no more Animal Planet, no more Explorer channel, and no more Amimne(Jap's cartoon. Adult cartoon after midnight) for me to watch. WWWAAAHHHHH!!

I will be visiting library once in a while to check emails from time to time. I may not be able to use the blog as often.

Meantime, Mom and I are stuck staying here. So, that means, it's time for me to go back to work. I need the money. I'm nearly out of cash.

Since I didn't sleep good last night. Time for me to go to bed.

Sept is almost over.

Wow! This month is alot faster than I thought. I've been busy lately.

Speaking of September, my birthday is coming soon. Man! I'm getting old... very old. However, I'm still young in my heart. Just that, I couldn't believe that's long time I've been here on Earth in USA. Espeically alot can happen when people died in early age.

Oh, guess what I'm going to AZ this November. I'm not going to tell where is exactly. Smile!

However, I will be when I get back home. It's very exciting

*****************************************************************************

Off the subject, my parents were talking today. I asked, "whatcha talking about?" They seems in a very serious discussion.

Mom told me that my parents are thinking about having Dad retire that certian company and work in different company in North Carolina. Main reason is that, it is tooo expensive here and they could not able to save any dimes on retirement plans. They do not want to wait 2 years to move again since they can not save anything.

Dad do not want to make harsh decision. He rather wait until he contact to the company to be sure that company will hire him or not. Dad do not want to "retire" now and regret it. Espeically they do want to earn the living for few more years before they retire.

Either way, it is still a risk.

*********************************************************************

Last night I had a nightmare. It's really about a large obstacle in my way and it is so overwhalm to overcome. I need to open it up. Problem is that I already did but no one understands me where I'm coming from. That part is frustrating. One thing I still haven't had a chance to talk to my 2nd mom. I wish my trip wasn't that short plus my 2nd mom got sick while I was there. I guess I do have "bottle up my emotional"...

Well, it is getting late and I better go to bed.

Little Girl

There's something I would like to mention this. Over the labor day weekend, I was staying at my 2nd mom. She brought a little girl at the airport. My 2nd mom was taking temporary custody for that 2 years old girl. Cuz, her mother's on drugs and in jail. Father is nowhere to be found. Sad... truly sad...
So, that cute 2 years old was very shy to meet me. She hidden behind my 2nd mom's leg. She's really adorable. My 2nd mom put her in the back seat with that special thing for kids to sit down with seatbelt. I just wave at her with a smile as I sitting in the front seat.

Later at night, we stop at Chik-fla(sp). The little girl told my 2nd mom that she rather have me put her down from the mini-suv. I was kinda surprised by that so was my 2nd mom since she wasn't expecting it. I don't mind. So I did.

There's chick-fi-la(wrong sp again) have a mini door to fit thru. 2nd mom was encouraging her to go to that mini-door. As I quickly go around to the large door to meet that little girl. 2nd mom said, "What do ya think of that? That special door is made for you." So sweet...

Next day, I decided to go ahead and unbuckle the seatbelt and put her down from the SUV instead of my 2nd mom as well as I put her back every time we get on SUV. Of course, that little girl said to my 2nd mom that she wants me to do it. She's such a sweetie.

According to my 2nd mom, that little girl's mind is absorbing like a sponge that absorb from the water. For example, when she's driving there's a car cut too close in front of her, 2nd mom said, "YOU FRIGGIN' IDIOT!!!!" Few moments later, the little girl repeat of what 2nd mom said. After that, 2nd mom kept her mouth shut. I laughed.

One morning, we got up very early to go to the DragonCon to drop me off. That little girl asked this question, "Why do we have to go 'bye-bye' so early?" Aaaaww so adorable. Of course, 2nd mom explaining everytime the little girl asking questions.

At night, 2nd mom also take care of the 3 days from her long time friend since her friend's son is getting in for divorce. So, 2nd mom taking care of the 3 days at evening. The little girl learned the word "cooperate". My 2nd mom is trying to teach her that dog's behavior is different and doesn't mean they're bad. One dog would not cooperate when give to the medication and being stubborn. While other dog would cooperate when giving the medication.

The little girl use that word... "cooperate" that 2nd mom taught her a new word. As we were in the house giving dog foods and etc. There's a peanut butter mix with medication. The little girl have peanut butter with medication. 2nd mom was gone other room. The little girl came to the dog. I didn't know that she can give the medication to that certain dog since I didn't know which dog that would cooperate and would not. I told her "no". The little girl was being stubborn, "Yes!" I told her "No!" Then she started to cry and go to the 2nd mom. The 2nd mom came up and asked me why is she crying. I explained to her then she said, "oh, that's okay. This dog does cooperate." The little girl gave the medication with peanut butter. The dog just lick it off. He's just exciting like having candy to eat. I thought that was interesting. I did apolozie to the little girl, "I'm sorry. I didn't know." Of course, I'm sure the little girl don't understand but still I went ahead and told the little girl that I'm sorry.

Meanwhile, the little girl is feeding the dinner to the same dog while Deb is trying to get other un-cooperative dog that was outside. Deb needs to put in the cage so that way it would seprate from other big dog who will eat other dog foods.

The little girl went upstair and Deb told me to do the same because that un-cooperative dog wouldn't come in unless the little girl and I went upstair and closed the gate. As I went upstair, the little girl stopped and turned around order me, "Go downstair and sit down!!" I told the little girl, "No." Again the little girl repeat and so I said the same thing, "no, I will not go down to sit down." The little girl repeat, I decided to explain to her why I am not going downstair within a few seconds the little girl lost her balance and fell on the steps. I'm just am glad that it is only 2 steps down and not all the way down stairs. She did bump her face on the fence-rail-thing. There's a small red marked on her cheek. She started to cry.

Of course, I explained that to my 2nd mom. My 2nd mom said she's tired and there's a cranky mood in her. That make sense since it is kinda late. My 2nd mom did managed to get the uncooperative dog in the cage and went upstair. The little girl stick her both arms out as she wanted me to pick her up and carried her. I did. The little girl said something that I do not understand but I do understand 2nd mom when she's kissing the little girl's cheek to make it all better. She's such a sweetie. 2nd mom asked me if she will carry. I told her, "Nah, it's fine. I'll carry her." I took her to the SUV and put her up the seat. Then she's fine.

At night, I gave a good night hug to the little girl before she's going to bed. She's really a good girl.

Fall Time Already?

I sure hope so, the weather is getting nice and nicer. I'm so exciting. I love Autumn!! My favorite thing in the whole wide world. YaY!!!

The weather is alittle cool today but it has humid in it; however, tonight will go down to 70's. I can't wait for more nice weather and taking for a walk with Reese. Since Reese loves to walk. I managed to walk this evening when it's cool but I still get sweat a bit because it's still humid plus the wind isn't blowing to help out.

Reese loves it! She likes it so much that she's truly exciting and just barking and jump up and down the moment I put my tennis shoes on. Sooo cute.

I already pictures Oreo. I will planning on downloading soon by end of this Friday or before.

News about Oreo...

We haven't posted up "Found kitty" either we postpone it or we don't want to do it. However, we still have not hear any news about "Lost Kitten". If someone want badly enough, they would have posted "Lost Kitten".

Speaking of Oreo, he and Reese get along very good. They play with each other alot. Sometimes, we have to watch Reese because she can play rough sometimes. Plus, Reese tends to overboard (play way too much and doesn't know when to stop). I have to stop her for a while until she's calms down and cool off then play again. It's same with Oreo. Oreo needs a sleep since Kittens do need that. So I encourage Reese to come to sit with me. Afterwhile Oreo joins with us and sleep.

Of course, once Oreo wakes up, he'll go and start playing "cat-mouse" and "hide-and-seek" games with Reese. Sometimes, they're playing weastling(sp). They're so cute and get alongs very well with each other. Just need to keep an eye on Reese to make sure that she doesn't get too rough since Oreo is still a kitten.

Oreo??

Well, mom been kept talking about getting black/white border collie and name him/her an Oreo. She kept wanting to go to visit humane socity but always avoid it.

Guess what? Mom went to take my dog, Reese for a walk since I do not feel so good. It's nice weather. There's a black/white kitty follows my mom and decided to bring him home. He's a stray cat. He's a male and skinny to the bones. Either he's stray or lost. So, mom said want to named him "Oreo" I told her but first let check the neighborhood to make sure that he doesn't belong to anyone. There might be someone who lost a kitten would be very sad and upsetting. That kitten seems gone long time, too becuase he's dirty and skinny.

Mom bought kitten food, yesterday for Oreo. He has a good personality. He ate a lot and drink a lot of water. We gave one at a time to Oreo so it won't be so overwhalmed to his stomach. If we don't hear anything then we will keep Oreo.

Picture of Oreo later...

September already?

My goodness! Where the summer had gone by so quickly? I just couldn't believe it. My plans are to have one month off before going back to work.

I still considering to try to find another job first. I want to go to the smaller store because that store where I work is sooo huge. I figure that smaller store would be best and it's not taking so much cleaning. I'm hoping to get one of my fave store because it has my size. If not, that's fine but as long I'm using the smaller size store, anywhere but the bigger size store.

So, wish me good luck for that.

Meantime, I'm just relaxing and doing my errands. I still haven't straighten out my University, yet. I got one more paperwork that I have to do. I can't wait to straighten that out. In meantime I want to visit few other universities.

Also, I haven't heard from my temporary VR. I better contact him soon. I almost forgotten until now. I just send an email. Haha, nice thing about technology nowadays.

Good Nite for now!

Half Good and Half Bad

My labor day weekend was so-so.

I did went to the convention. Sadly, I went to the wrong Looooonnnnnnnnggg line worth about 3-4 hours for nothing. I missed out alot from the begining.

At least, I get to see my favorite actor up on the stage. It's better than nothing. I spend mostly taking picture than listen to the interpreter.

Also, I get to see Star Trek (different from StarGate).

It's very interesting that so many people wear costumes. Star Wars, Star Trek, Star Gate, Harry Potter and some are fantasy such as Demons, fairies, witches and one unicorn. I do see some wear Disney movies such as snow white, Belle, and some villian like Gaston and snow white's witch. I saw one wear snow white but in sexy kinda way because it short mini skirt. It looks almost like maid-snow white. Some wear leather outfit. Oh, I saw one girl worn Duct Tape around the boobs and the under-thing-y like bathing suit. I can't help but thinking "Ow" that gotta be hurt.

I saw one cool costume. It has a real mask cover up the skin on the face with neat-o costume. As well as wearing wing that does move up and down when he move the arms. It's a demon part. Looks sooo realistic. I bet it takes long time to do that. It's so amazing to look all those.

Oh I remember other one with white wig with long medival dress and have two red dots with a little bloody. Like the vimpire got her. It's interesting to see all those. It's so different.

There's a competation for custume. There's a compention for Kliogon Empire for the beauty pagant female Kligon. It's very interesting. It's rather very different.

Oh, I got the chance to have a picture with Paul McGillion. When I recieve the picture, for some reason Paul looks so adorble in it with me. The way Paul hold me look alike he's holding me in a kind of hug-way and my head on his chest while Paul's head lay on my head. It's so cute! It's looks good. That melts my heart.

Speaking of Paul, when I was at the audience, I decided to come up a little closer in front of Paul and he noticed me. Thanks Paul! That made my day. Especially when I have my PMS and I'm being over sensective that I tried so hard to fight to prevent of being over-senative(sp).

Here's the pictures that I took it is on Flickr that shows both Star Gate and Star Trek.

Same picture that Paul notice me.

Be Still and know I am God...

Yeah, I'm standing still.. "Hi God." *waves up in the air* Verse...Chapter.. somewhere in the bible. Yeah, I know I am making a little joke here. Good or bad? Depend on your point of view.

Mind ya, although I am no longer Christian but I do believe in God.

Well, I think God is telling me to wait and be patience. Good things will come to you when you have patience.

I decided to postpone my school until Spring. Everything is just last minutes. I hate last minutes. The dorm is no longer available but I can live off-campus but I do not want to pay monthly rent if it is free to stay in school. It would save whole lot of trouble for me. And I still haven't got the classes prepare... many other reasons.

Next day, I have appointment with my temporary VR. I think it is a good thing because my first VR didn't give me much of advices. Maybe help me at some things but not much relate to school. Unless VR was planning to have a discuss with me. But I don't think so. I went ahead and apply one University. My first VR said that's fine and go for it. Well, that VR did got promoted and transfered. Now I am talking to my tempoary VR. My temp VR warned me about the....ahem... the services for the Deaf isn't that good, the one that I planned to go. He also gave me another advices.. He gave me the first 3 top choices for science major that would be best for me for my future of the job.

Funny thing is that. I have struggle of what speaific field do I really wants because I knew major Biology is too board for me. (even Marine Biology is general.) I want something that fits for me... something I don't mind... something I do enjoy...

That temp VR spoke something that I have been looking for... He said that Biology major is too general and recommend to take that elevuation(sp) so that will help narrow down. Also, that would help to pinpoint of which college offers that fits for speaific major degree. I was like, "YES! That's what I've been looking for! I do not know what speaific do I really wants and what fits my personality better! I want that way." That's why I could not find what college do I really wants. I was so relief to hear that. Now, I am asking my temp VR to be no longer my temp and have it direct transfer to him permant. He said that he will have to discuss with his supervisor. DAMN!! Why do supervisor have to make the decision there? Why can't I make the decision? No matter... I will get what I want because I have the right to pick my own prefences of VR. I have done that once before and I can do that again.

At first, I was sooo frustrated that nothing comes the way I wanted!! And now... I know why. If I knew about that I would have not done it. LOL, but that's okay. At least, I got the most work done... However, there's more paperwork to do but this time I'm more relax. And focus more on my Labor Day weekend. *smile*
P.S. I got things straighten out with my Sidekick-pager. Also, my internet is DSL. When TV cable isn't working then internet is not working, either. Don't ya hate that? Anyway, things back to normal, again.

Unstopable Reese

Yep, that says it all. My parents and I were trying to encourage Reese to get in the pool since last year and this year. It sure take a long time. Finally, few weeks ago, we got her swimming in the pool. Now, we can't stop from her not to swim in the pool. Hahaha. When my dad told her, "no, stay." As my dad were busy swimming and didn't notice. Reese hopped in the pool while she has that chance. Today, I finally had a chance to walk, Reese. Since there's wind blowing. That helps a lot! I did 2 short walk with her. Plus, she was running around the pool and swim once. She's already exhausted. Normally, at night, she's ready to play but not tonight.

Wow, Time flies.... Now I have nothing to do. I grow accusmtoed to do errands...and doing things such as going to work and going to the play.. And now.. I'm sitting and doing nothing. Well, not exactly doing nothing because I'm typing in this blog. Haha! Well, it's weekend... everything is closed. So tomorrow(Monday), I will start on my errands, again. I still have so much to do this week and so little time.

What else is new? My Soul Sister will be flying over at my home during Thanksgiving from Oregon. I can't wait to see her.

Since, we postpone our visit to Gergoria until Christmas. I wonder would it be before Christmas... During ... or After? I guess I will find out when I have the "talk" with my parents this Thanksgiving. If not, I may fly over to visit my Soul Sister in Oregon since her gramma will be paying my flight for me. My guts tell me that going to Gergoria may not going to happen. After all, we might ended up discussing what shall we do with our pets and ended up of not going. Wait and See...

Well, I gotta go since I'm going to be busy all week....

Today's last day...

For my work...

Today is the last day for my work. I have applied LOD... And I did double check my schaudle, my name is not on the list. So I know for sure it is no longer there.

Yah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No more work for me

Boo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No more money for me.

Haha!
That's okay. I can survive without it for a while. I know I can be patience. Lot-sa-patience... Meantime, I learn a lot working there more than I was working in cashier and at internship. Yeah I know, it's ironic. Tell me about it. I learn more than I ever knew.

Plus, I learn more about myself and the real world than I ever was when I was in college even I did have one semester off during the Fall time then back to school. I didn't know anything up to now. Werid. I learn so much more for past 2 years sum up for nearly 30 years.

Anyway, I'm so nervous! Going back to college... Man! I don't think I can do it anymore. I'm getting old. I know, I know, there are people who are older did go to college but for me. It's not easy. There are many different reasons.

Well, speaking of going back to college, I'm still working on it. It is not, yet, confirmed. Hopefully by tomorrow, if not then Monday. Plus I do have meeting this Wedensday with Office of disablity. This is first time I ever had a meeting since I'm so used to going to Gallaudet (most Deaf and Hard-of-hearing people.... and few hearings).

Sigh. Well, it is getting late and I better get to bed. After this weekend, I'm planning on going to bed early and get up early so I can prepare to go to school... weather or not I'm going.

World Clock

I got this email from a friend of mine. The World Clock check it out.

Speaking of boundaries, (Jennifer, seem like we have smiliar here) Last Sunday (yes it was Sunday, too) I decided to say "no" for my parents usually borrow my money and few times they didn't pay me back. Some did... some not... This time I decided to say "no" for a few reasons, one: this week is the last week of my working. two: I have plans for Labor Day Weekend and I need to keep the money. Three: My friend borrowed my money and she can't pay back fully. She only paid half. As long as she's paying me back, I'm okay. Just wish it is fully. So, that's when I decided to set-up my boundary here.

Of course, mom got all UPSET like I'm treating her as a "stranger" by saying "no" because we are family suppose to help each other. I rolled my eyes. I was thinking what's freaking next. She said that there are things that I "owe" them that I can't pay to them. I was like... Geez, now my mom is setting up the boundary. They said that I order the meal that is most expensive (I thought it was reasonable price especially they didn't say anything) and they choice NOT to say it.

I was like.. what happen to the communication, here?!?!? I didn't know that. They could have told me. They didn't. That's just one example. There's more on the lists.

Geez, just when I decided to say "no" ONCE.... Now mom make a big deal out of it. Now, she setting up the MORE boundaries... Eyes Rolls.. She cried. She certain take it personally, alright. I told my mom, "Don't I have the right to set up the boundaries, not only to strangers and friends but with family, too??"

Yesterday, I needed to buy a couple pair of shoes since my old ones are starting to wear-out and out-dated. So, mom and I go out together (we usually shop together and we enjoy doing that). Mom did asked me for 30 dollars. This time I didn't respond. I actually ingore her. I bought my one pair of shoes is all I needed instead of two. But I refuse to give money to my mom. I usually do that in the past but this time I have to say "no" again. Mainly because I wouldn't have the money after this week.

Geez....

(Jennifer, what's your brillant idea comes in your mind? ya mention in the twitter, ya got me curious) ;-)

Technology

Wow... amazing about technology nowadays.

Ever trouble with internet? My does... It's not working during the day when I needed the most while it's working just fine during the night when I'm not needed the most. Only check emails and maybe chat with friends online.

My tmobile's charger is not working. I haven't been using it for few weeks, now. That's another reason why I haven't been online lately. I use different screenname through computer... Plm is that I don't remember my other friends' sn for me to add on. Well, I'm not going to worry about it, anyway.

Any news? Well, so far I haven't succeed about my college this FALL... I am still working on it. One thing I hate the most is last minutes... But I'm still keep on working on it. If I don't succeed this FALL, I can do it in the spring. If I made it this FALL, then GREAT!!

So, one thing or another... I just let it go and do my best as I can. During the day time (interenet is not workin) I went to library so I can take care of few things and write down phone numbers so I can make phone calls. I feel more comfortable using computer at home than I do at libaray. Well, I don't have much choice... I still use library.

Ooohh, Another news, I CAN NOT wait until go to Convnetion(sp). It's coming soon.. I sure hope that Michael Shanks is still going. I hope that he doesn't cancel the plans. So, wait and see...

One thing is that I wish I could afford to buy a camera... I'm hoping that my dad would let me borrow his. Although I don't really like his camera that much. I want the camera that ZOOM in like one friend of mine has it. Because of possible sitting way in the back seat. Knowing my other friend... she tend to wait until last minutes and it would be too late to sit in the front. I'm hoping to convince my friend not to.

Mmmmm, that's all I can think of for now...

Old Habit, Die Hard

(Hey Jennifer, that's funny that you mention, cause I just thought of it today.) Speaking of old habit, die hard... Man! I was thinking overall for last several years... Yes, several years of trying to improve myself such as trying to stay organize but ended up relaspe. I try again... No luck. My question is "how in the world do you continue and stay that way??" How in the world to prevent of going back to the old way? I admit that my cleaning habit is still not that great... but it's better than before, that's for sure... But still, how do you do that?

Same with any other bad habits... according to my mom said, "change your lifestyle so you can change your old habit to new habit." She always make that impression.

It didn't acoss my mind until now.

Mom did told me that when she was once a "chain-smoker" she smokes 5 packs a day... talk about a heavy smoker.

She had her asthama attack and the doctor said that there's nothing they can do to help her. Only thing that she can do is to quit smoking. Boy! Talk about "cold turkey" everytime I approach my mom she just "blew-up" with frastruated. She said that she always smoke when she drink coffee. She goes to bed late and smoke.

Just a few examples, since mom have to quit smoking, that means she can't drink coffee. She goes to bed early instead of later. Everytime she wake up and start smokeing. Instead, she have to get up and do her errands instead of staying in bed smoking. So, changing your habit have to be changing lifestyle. I knew that would not be easy to do such thing like that.

Again, I ask myself, how in the world do I change my lifestyle? I realize, it's best for me to live by myself and able to focus on my goal. I notice my goal get sidetrack because I'm being distracted with a lot of things when I'm on my own. I don't get a lot of distracted and I'm able to focus on my goal better.

Again, I do know that is just an exuse. So,..... I still have no answer...

Only answer I can think of is determine... If ya truly want to change the old habit ... you have to be determine. That's the only thing I can think of.

I better go and do my errands before it's getting too late.

Today is last day

Yep, today was the last day for the PLAY...

There is a few cute guys there. I did observe them. One guy likes to be the center of the attention. I watch him talking few other girls as well as he talking to me. I can see that he's "playing hard to get". He's nice and yet not seem so nice. I did talk to him just to be polite. I'm surprised that he did not drain my energy away as I thought he would. Maybe it is because I only chat with him briefly. I'm not sure. I do keep myself minding my own buisness. Other guy, he seems a little bit young for me. I do enjoy his company but for some reason he wasn't hanging out with me. He seems ingoring me. I wonder why? Again, I was being polite. I continue to talk with others and not taking personally.
Meantime, I did go ahead enjoy my part. I truly did enjoy my part. I didn't take anything personally as I continue.

I laughed at myself (after it finished the play) the part where I did shutter(sp) for some reason I couldn't get out of the word from the line but I managed to continue to finish the line. Haha, I couldn't believe for split moment I almost forgot the line.

Here's the second part of the scene, the young girl who usually come and get me when I'm having the next show part. For some reason, I saw stage manager came and got me... I knew I'm late for my next part... I ran as fast as possible without making footstep sound as best as I can. I have shawl wrap around my head as I approach. I saw them already on the stage and I knew I'm the next line to say... I quickly said the line as I jumped on the plateform as seem like I was really attracking the young boy like it is part of the play (even though I was suppose to be pretending that I'm attacking him but I'm on the plateform... not run and jumped and say the line)... but really I was LATE. hahaha, After it was done.. I was kinda surprised that was the fastest moment ... Like we finish in 1 SECOND... NOT 1 minute. I did laughed but not out loud. I just grinning from ear to ear. Wow! That was quick one. It was soo close. Too close...

I did approach to the young girl by my hands on my waist and looked at her like why didn't ya come and get me like she used to do that. She appozed many times since she was having fun with the photograph and with other girls. She totally forgotten. Haha, Whatever... but I do understand. Sometimes that happens.. but I'm glad that I made it on time... sorta...

It was still fun!

Here's another night...

Again.. the second scene.. not the first part.... this time.. the guy messed up.. He said "Little girl, Little girl, blah blah blah.. That not the right one... He supposed to say, "Write me when you learn how." Because the "Little girl " line part is for the first scene... Not the second scene. He said that line "little girl" and of course the boy and I didn't say our line as it was suppose to but since that Man messed it up. Once he realized that he messed it up.. He went ahead and added "Write me when you learn how." Of course.. the other crone supposed to say the next line but I knew that she's confused because she didn't hear me saying my line. I went ahead and said it first (even though it is her first) once she realized what I said.. she went ahead and said it.

We are the crones... Three women... We are the nightmare as in witches-type. We say at the same time... at the last line... The crone 1 suppose to say first, "Yeah, don't tell anyone where you came from. Don't tell anyone...." I must say, "Yeah, don't tell anyone..." Crone 3 will say "Yeah, don't tell any..." We must say at the same times... But I went ahead said first. Since I knew one girl is already confusing. She came to me and told me that she's so glad that I said it. Because she was lost where she suppose to say.

Well, it's all about teamwork. It's really all about teamwork by helping each other out. But I don't mind helping other who do the work... for those who doesn't do the work, I refuse to help.

Overall, I enjoy more and more and more (despite my bad luck, lately). I'm so glad that I cut down the work hours by 2 to 3 days a week. I really do. It's relieve for me. I do enjoy more and relaxing. Even though I do work for other area (for free). One supervisor asked me where have I been. I told him Oh I'm still around but just not working everyday. He asked me if I have another job. I told him now it's the threatre. It's just for fun. In other word, it's free. The money they paid to.. is actually chairty, it will go to the needs whoever needs the fundrasing stuff like that.

It's worth my worthwhile.

Most Affordable Towns

**** Copy & Paste here*******

Looking for an affordable place to own a home? Think Garfield Heights, Ohio, or Penn Hills, Pennsylvania, or any number of the townships and communities clustered predominantly in America's industrial heartland. Nine of the 25 in the list can be found in Ohio alone.
To generate the list, we divided median family income by median home prices. The towns are ranked in order of their home-to-income ratio. And average prices are less than half the cost of hot coastal markets, such as Boston, San Francisco and Seattle.

Northbrook, Ohio Median family income: $59,902 Median home price (2006): $83,760This sleepy Cincinnati suburb has more than 11,000 people and some of the best housing buys in a region known for affordable places to live. Residents say they like the low-key living there, aided by a high percentage of home ownership. Northbrook is one of many Ohio communities benefiting from an influx of out-of-state buyers looking for investment properties. Prices, however, remain reasonable and the community has managed to maintain its character.

Blacklick Estates, Ohio Median family income: $59,172Median home price (2006): $83,480A short drive from the flourishing state capital of Columbus, Blacklick Estates provides a pastoral setting with good schools nearby and a number of activities within walking distance.

Tonawanda, New YorkMedian family income: $51,819Median home price (2006): $74,878The town's name means "Swift Running Water" not "Crazy Real Estate Bubble." Tonawanda commonly refers to several towns in Western New York, but in this case we're talking about the two that run along the Niagara River with attractive affordable homes. Available there: A ranch with three bedrooms and two baths for $119,000 -- and that's on the high end. Values are easily found for under $100,000, making this region both beautiful and budget-friendly.

Shiloh, OhioMedian family income: $54,079Median home price (2006): $79,722"Shiloh" is generally believed to be an Old Testament reference to the Messiah. Ohioans are so enamored with the name that they've given it to four towns in the state. We're focusing on the one in Montgomery County. The city has an abundance of neatly kept, smartly priced homes where fixer-uppers start in the mid-60s and where you can get a three-bedroom with garage for about $135,000.

West Mifflin, Pennsylvania Median family income: $52,771Median home price (2006): $81,113Just a few miles southeast of downtown Pittsburgh, West Mifflin provides easy access to the greater metropolitan area with housing prices that are anything but big-city. Late-model split-levels go for $189,000, while wide open spaces can be purchased for a reasonable $50,000 an acre.

North College Hill, Ohio Median family income: $52,482Median home price (2006): $80,761While this Cincinnati suburb dates to the year the Constitution was signed, you don't need old money to live there. Well-maintained ranchers and Cape Cods go for under $100,000, and you can pick up a newer four-bedroom for under $170,000. The Ronald Reagan Cross Country Highway provides fine transportation access but hasn't caused property values to skyrocket.

Maple Heights, Ohio Median family income: $54,368Median home price (2006): $84,597This Cleveland suburb has been the beneficiary of some very ambitious local economic development initiatives, but housing costs remain well in line with what the locals can afford. Prices there tend to be a bit higher than other parts of the state -- a modest Cape Cod in the nicer part of town will run you $130,000 -- but Maple Heights is still well below the national average. There are plenty of bargains in the below-$100,000 range.

Kenmore, New York Median family income: $59,875Median home price (2006): $93,413Kenmore joins the aforementioned Tonawanda to form a region the locals call Ken-Ton. The Buffalo suburb offers low-cost housing in low-crime neighborhoods. Decent single-family homes start around $70,000 there with many in the $150,000 range. More exclusive areas, like Deerfield Park, will cost you close to $300,000.

Penn Hills, Pennsylvania Median family income: $54,022Median home price (2006): $84,915For an incorporated township, Penn Hills is sizeable with more than 40,000 residents, but the real estate market hasn't overheated. Decent homes in this Pittsburgh suburb can easily be found for less than $100,000, while impressive five-bedroom homes on sprawling properties can be had for about $300,000.

Brentwood, Pennsylvania Median family income: $55,105Median home price (2006): $86,878Another in a long list of inexpensive, quiet suburbs in the Pittsburgh-Northeast Ohio corridor, Brentwood gets plenty of lake-effect snow but lots of heat from the local real estate market. Like its counterparts, you can get a decent fixer-upper or starter home in the $60,000 range, but you can also go upscale with the $300,000-and-up construction sprouting in the newer neighborhoods.

Depew, New YorkMedian family income: $56,786Median home price (2006): $90,149Quiet Depew is another Buffalo suburb known for nasty winters and low-cost housing. In this old railroad town it's not unheard of to find older homes selling for around $50,000, with very few properties over the $400,000 mark.

Irmo, South Carolina Median family income: $74,920Median home price (2006): $119,003This suburb of state capital, Columbia, features scenic Lake Murray, a solid travel system and great schools -- just the kind of place where real estate prices should soar. Yet costs remain reasonable, with a fair number of bargains below $150,000. The high end, though, can get pretty high, with properties listed at $500,000 and up.

Corning, New YorkMedian family income: $52,152Median home price (2006): $83,198Glass manufacturer Corning Inc. serves as the economic bedrock for this southwest New York community known also for the elaborate Rockwell Museum of Western Art. Opportunities abound for the housing bargain hunter, with many fine homes listed below $75,000 and few over $400,000.

Lancaster, New York Median family income: $61,781Median home price (2006): $98,883The town of Lancaster and the smaller adjacent village by the same name have been talking about merging, but until then this upstate community stands on its own as an affordable housing center. Single-family homes start under $100,000 and run to the half-million-dollar range -- still far lower than in many other regions in the state.

Bellevue, Ohio Median family income: $55,104Median home price (2006): $91,322This little sliver of a city somehow manages to span four counties, perhaps accounting for the wild variations in home prices. A small single can run you as low as $35,000, but the larger homes in newer developments will set you back close to $600,000.

Gates-North Gates, New York Median family income: $59,960Median home price (2006): $99,612Part of the larger town of Gates, this upstate community is near a number of major corporate headquarters including Eastman Kodak and Bausch & Lomb. Despite such well-heeled neighbors, the Gates area remains a place where you can easily find a great home in the $100,000 range.

Cheektowaga, New York Median family income: $53,039Median home price (2006): $88,239Yet another place to go house-hunting in the Buffalo region, Cheektowaga is the largest of the suburbs with a population approaching 100,000. The town features hundreds of multi-dwelling units that go for $90,000 and under as well as an amazing array of single-family houses priced below $75,000.

Cheviot, Ohio Median family income: $54,611Median home price (2006): $92,038This small Cincinnati suburb has houses priced to sell. A handful of available luxury homes will set you back about $500,000, but the lower end finds a slew of handsomely maintained homes for well under six figures.

Boardman, Ohio Median family income: $61,012Median home price (2006): $103,175Part of that up-and-coming Pittsburgh-Northeast Ohio region, the sprawling town is known mostly for farming and its banner crop of athletes, which include former Cleveland Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar. On the real estate scene, an array of cute single-family homes goes for under $100,000, with an abundance of fixer-uppers for half that price. There are also quality higher-end properties available around this charming town.

Lincoln Park, Michigan Median family income: $56,912Median home price (2006): $96,579Residents of this Detroit suburb generally work in the city at one of the automotive plants, with industry in town virtually non-existent. Housing prices run the gamut, with most under $150,000 and very little above $250,000.

Melvindale, Michigan Median family income: $53,156Median home price (2006): $90,302A Detroit suburb with precious little of its own industry, there are lots of homes available in Melvindale for under $100,000. Even $150,000 gets pricey here, with the most expensive homes topping out at under $300,000.

Storm Lake, Iowa Median family income: $50,455Median home price (2006): $85,830Home of Buena Vista University, Storm Lake is an ethnically diverse community rich with housing bargains. There are a handful of homes in the $500,000 range, but you can get plenty of house for under $70,000.

Garfield Heights, OhioMedian family income: $54,166Median home price (2006): $93,116This Cleveland suburb recently witnessed the completion of the $200 million CitiView Center, a mega-complex to house shopping, a hotel and office space. Property values are still reasonable though, with an amazingly rich selection of real estate, at least half of it priced under $150,000 and only a sliver of more than 1,700 listings priced over $250,000.

Kokomo, IndianaMedian family income: $50,355Median home price (2006): $87,148Slow-moving Kokomo is home to a DaimlerChrysler plant and Delphi Corp. world headquarters. Its real estate market, though, remains tame, with most listings coming in below $250,000 and more than half well below $100,000. Not the Kokomo Island of which the Beach Boys sang, but definitely an oasis for home shoppers on limited budgets.

Harper Woods, Michigan Median family income: $63,770Median home price (2006): $110,486This small city split off from a larger township 55 years ago and has made its identity, as the name implies, as a rural counterpart to its more industrialized neighbors in the Detroit area. Co-ops and condos might be the biggest bargain in town, with most starting around $40,000. Single-family homes are available as well for under $100,000 where even the high end doesn't get much higher than $200,000.

Guess Not...

Since my mom found out that she require to work on weekends. Now, she starting to considering not to go for it. Plus working at night... Sound too much like my position...

Speaking of the position, there's one available postion for morning. I remember one person did work there and she works every morning execpt weekends. Then I decided to ask for that position.

One guy came up to me and go with him in the pravite room plus another young lady who knows sign language. He told me that if I want that "promote" position... I didn't realize that is for promote position. He said that I would not be able to get that postion because of my "attenditive(sp) problem". What he means that I have to fill out certain days that I can't show up TWO weeks ahead... NOT 3 days before or something like that. Plus, I left early at night couple times.... again that was NOT on purpose, it was miscommunication there!! *sigh* However, they don't see that. They see it as an exuse.

I did fill out certain dates and they didn't updated what I'm available or not, in the past before I joined the Threatre. I was stuck on those dates. It's like I'm not allow to "unavailable" I've asked 30 hours or less... They put me more hours. When I starting to try-out. I did fill out what's I'm NOT available... Yet, they still didn't change the update. I fed-up. I went ahead and go and try-out and I got the part. I called 3 days ahead to let them know I can't show up(I already fill out TWO weeks ahead).

Geez, BECAUSE of my "attentive (show up) promblem" DAMN IT!!! Now I do look bad for the future job. I'm surprised that they didn't fired me. CRAP!!! What's next??

I'm hoping that I'm making sense here.
Any advices here!! I'm really upset about that happened. I need advices, please!

YAY!!!!

FINALLY! After all those years I've tried to encourage mom to get a job. Since she's complaining that she's bored a lot. She felt that she isn't worth enough to get one. She did tried to applied few times before but they declined. Even though mom did have experenices but she haven't been working since I was born. So, it has been LONG time. I did reminded my mom that one store-owner did asked her if she wants to work at her store. That lady who owns that store did literally hire her. Sadly, it's too far from where they live. It's 2 hours drive. That's because my mom always LOVE to talk to people and she usually talk to ANYBODY doesn't matter who is who. Kids, adults, teenagers, and etc.... Mom still talks to them.
My mom goes to her all-time favorite store nearby my home. She goes there a lot. She did talk to the workers there and she smiles a lot. Mom said that the employers' favorite costumer is my mom. Haha! When they heard that my mom is applying the application for the job, they told the manager that she's better hire her. They didn't interview... Hire her on the spot. Haha!

Now, on Monday will be training time for my mom!! *grinning from ear to ear* I'm happy for her!

Slept Hard and Long

WHOOO!! I slept hard today. I did set up clock alarm for noon. I accidently set up A.M. Yes, I went to be after midnight. So, I slept right through until 3pm. I woke up a little goggy but feels sooo good. What a strange dream, too! There's viking, celtic symbol, blue stone, mirror, and good looking hunks... They're TALL and BIG men. But they good-looking.. Not bum type with dirty long bread and etc. There are just nodding and gestures. There's very small converstation. I can't remember the converstation. There's some kind of meeting. It just jumped in different scene real quick like changing channel but same people. So, weird. But very nice way to sleep without interrprut.

Anyway, I'm going to the play again on Tuesday night because so many people signed up for it so they went ahead and add more for it. Lucky, I'm free this Tuesday night and Wedensday. Talking about perfect timing. For sure, I'm free Wedensday. However, I'm going to do errands around the house. Blah! Always doing errands... Nothing new. Haha!

Speaking of the play, it was good, tonight. I know one guy who also invovle that play. He only plays minor character; however, he did tried out the audition for Beauty and the Beast. OOoohhhh, that's my favorite Disney Movie..."Who could ever learn to love the Beast." Hehe, I also found out that guy is also playing the "beast". He is going to sing, too. There's a musical, too. If it is smiliar as the movie for songs and scirpts and words. GREAT! At least, I know what's going on when I am watching it. I'm pretty sure there will be interpreter for one night, too. So, I'm going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I gotta see that play. It is one of several favorite Disney movies. *smile* Mmmm I may re-watch it before I go and watch the play.

Nice Experiences

After few times of doing the play, it is really interesting experiences. I truly enjoy it dispite the fact that I hate to sweat when it comes to wear those costumes on hot days.

There's a few mess up on the lines but what make good acting real good is that pretending to be part of the scirpt when it isn't. Only we know the mistakes while the audience don't. Also, there's one person who didn't make it. Lucky, there's another back up. Even the back up memorize her own lines and try to memorize someone else's line messed up. It's really funny. I didn't laugh at the play. I just went on using my lines and continue like it was nothing. After the play is over, I did laughed. It's really so funny. I even laughed at my own mistake.

It's worth it! As I mention before, it's something different things to do. I noticed the differences. At the play, these people are doing this just for enjoyment because they're not getting paid. They're there having fun and they do take their parts sincerely. They're not playing around or wasting their time. They do thier teamwork so well. WAY better than my working dept. I feel like half the time, they don't do their parts. They just there to get the money and leave. THey're expecting someone else doing for them. Espeically when it comes to "young" kids. Like a mother do for them.

Anyway, My family and I are doing fine and that's including our pets. They're doing okay, too.

Wow!

After been doing the real play twice, One on Friday and one on Monday, it was very interesting experience for me. One downside, the costume (still missing but have different one for back-up) is making me sweat and hot. Not only that but in the backroom is also hot. OY! Just a fan going on. Still, I hate to sweat. It's not my favorite thing. However, I manage to keep myself cool most of the time.

All in All, everything is good. I enjoy it even it is a short one but I do enjoy. Something different something to challenge myself that I never thought I would do but I did. It's truly a great experience for me as well challenge myself to soical more with other people. I'm so exciting and neverous at the same time when I jumped up on the stage.

Oh, It's funny. One guy messed up with the line but we all act like it was nothing and it is part of the play. Haha, My parents didn't notice. It's cool.

On Monday, I'm the one that messed up. Haha. I missed the line. Hehe. Again, I don't think anyone notice.

But my dad notice the other person messed up the line as well. I didn't know that because I wasn't there. I'm at the backstage that time.

I thought I would be less nervous at the 2nd play but ironic, I'm still nervous. I think that's because I do care and hope the audience enjoys the play even though I only play short one. Also, they are only focus on 2 women who plays the most.... The character are Helen and Annie. Which it is very normal. They are the main characters.

Oh, guess what? I have totally forgotten my work, today. I supposed to work. OY! I did called and informed and lucky, my boss... the sweet teamleader the one I mention to you about. Who's my favorite... Said that is okay and come in soon when I can. WHEW! So I came in an hour and half late. I'm glad that I'm okay. I'm working and working and it is busy since the days are sunny. Finally! I have been a chance to swim several times this week and last week. *sigh* I missed good swimming. I will be working tmw, too.

Lucky, I'm off Thursday but I do have so much more errands.

Oh, I almost forgotten to mention... My big toe have numbness and that I went to doctor... well he said that if there's one numbness then it should be sprending but it's not. He said that he thinks it has to do with pressure of small or pointed shoes that may caused it. He recommend me not to wear them. Which I don't always wear them. I just wear speical occusion. Mmmmm... Well, My numbness is still there but less. I will see doctor again end of this month to make sure that it doesn't spreading the rest of my toes.

Mmmm anything else? Well, that's all I can think of for now.

I better go!

P.S. Did I mention one of the teamleader who is lazy and doesn't do the work?? Well, that teamleader got fired... Yoohooo!!!! Man! Am I so glad? I do not like that teamleader. I feel like telling that lazy one to get your ass to work. Haha. Well, that teamleader got fired. Pppfffttttt.

Nightmare!

Me and my bad luck. Yes, it is.

Ya not going to believe this. Haha. My costumes were missing. It is the cap, skirt, and shirt. They're not there in the dressing room just like any other costumes. I was like... Where are they? I looked for it and can't find it. The lady who made the costumes, said look for outfit, don't try find labels. I did. No luck. I report to the Dirctor and Producer, they did look for it, too. Instead, I got another skirt that fit me but the top is too small for me. Lucky, there's a shawl that can cover up. I just hope they're not missing on my Friday night. This Friday, the real play starts. I couldn't believe it myself. Why would anyone wants this outfit? It's ugly. Haha.

Well, think of that,... Friday the 13th. It must be it.

Good news, my acting is improving tonight. *smile* I got a few postive compliant, tonight. I'm pating my own back for hard work. I can't wait to show that to my parents. When they come to see me. *grin*

Exhuasted!

I never thought I'm so exhuasted in my whole life. I've been busy here and there even during rain and non-rain. Today is my day off. Guess What, I slept and woke up... After a while, I slept again and woke up. OY! I'm so tired. I went to swim for about an hour. Afterward, I slept, again. Good thing I did catching up on my Zzzzz. Because tmw will be another busy and the rest of the week. OY!

Speaking of excerise and try to keep it up. Girl! Ya mention this 3 weeks as a consistent habit, HECK! I've been doing for 3 months. Just for a few weeks I missed all those, next thing I knew I gain back to the orgional(sp) weight. Geez, talk about life's not fair. Haha. Oh, having my mom's support me... Nah, I don't think so. All she ever does is nagging. Haha. I know she means well but it can be annoying.

But swimming in the pool was sure nice. I did my excerise there. It's so much easier than being out in the heat... and HUMID. Last year, it was dry but this year, it's humid. That's werid way of Mother's Nature... and of course, global warming or is it El Nino or La Nina. Or all in three? Don't matter but all I can say weather's are having ups and downs lately. I'm so glad that the sunshine is still shine.

SUNSHINE!!

Finally, it's about time! Since yesterday afternoon and today. I finally went to swim shortly yesterday and today. Sigh! Felt so good to swim. I did a few laps and I was out of breath. Oy! Is that obvious, I haven't been excerise lately. Trying to excerise and eat right are not that easy. I admit... I gain back to my oringial weight. Oh No!... I know, Oh well... I tried. I know, get back on my track again. How in the world do I manage to STAY in the track on longer terms?

Well, time goes on.

Meantime, I've been thinking about going on "Deaf Cruise".... What do you think?

I even thought about going alone but I don't know. Hey Jennifer, what do you think about going on Deaf Cruise?? Ever considering?

I'm off to find something to watch on TV.... If there is one.

Love

Is love real?

Other day, I was at the resturant. I saw a really old couple. Their body are wrinkles all over. I see them sitting across from each other on the table. They're holding hands and looking at each other like I see the young couple who in love. When I saw that it made me smile, I often wonder what's that like. It's amazing to see them like that. I don't know if they're just met or are they still love after all those years.

Still, it's amazing me.

I often meet people who are already in a couple or have a lover. I asked, How do you know is he/she is the one? Most common answer, "I dream of that person then that's how I knew he/she is the one." Funny thing is, my first ex told me that he dreamt of me and asked me if I ever did. I told him honestly, "no, I didn't" He seems to be very disappointed. I told him I'm sorry. Do you want me to lie? But truth is every time I met a guy, I never dreamt of them. They dreamt of me. They said I'm the one. Why do I don't dream of them? I never did.

Until I met a person, I dreamt of that person. First time in my life, I fell in love and knew that person is the one. Sadly, I lost that person.

They said there are many fishes in the sea. Even that is true, would I find another love that like but different kind of love but still a true love? A soulmate? One of the kind? A kindred spirit?

There are people who would said no... There are people who would said yes...

Hate Rain

Yep, I found out that the rain does not stop on Sunday. It postpone, again. Okay, I had enough with rain. STOP! Please?

Beside that, we been cleaning, watching, and playing games. We play cards and checker, lately. We taking turn cleaning and cooking dinner. We taking turn to walk my dog, Reese. Plus, I missed the pratice. Thank Goodness because according to the news there's a flood on certian road where I suppose to come home from the pratice. OY! Good thing, I didn't went. There's another flood not far from our home, in fact, it is a lot closer than before. Oh Boy!

I went outside in the backyard, I feel like there's a swamp because not only muddy but there's water a large puddle of water in the backyard. It covers all the ground. The grasses are getting taller and taller. Reese had hard time going to the yard.

Like I said, enough of the rain.... It's getting bored and.... Please no more floods...

In meantime, I'm doing fine. My family and pets are doing okay.

Let It Rain!

Half don't mind and half do mind. I'm getting a little bored with the constantly rains. I want sunshine so I can go swim in the pool. Yet, I want rains only on my work days. Haha.

Well, I know that Mother's Nature don't always give what you want.

Well, I think that give me no exauses anymore. I have to start cleaning up and helping my mom cleaning up the house. Since there isn't anything else to do except maybe coloring/painting or any other indoor hobbies.

Reese had been begging for a walk. I managed to walk her during non-raining times but few minutes later, I feel one drop... two drops.... few more then got increasing. Of course, we get in the house before big fat rain drops on us. It was so thick rain that can make bubbles on the swimming pool. (Not ripples).... It's raining cats and dogs. I'm surprised that there isn't any flooding around here, lately. *knock on the wood* The ground is so soft, wet, and muddy. I have to wipe Reese's paws before going inside the house.

Well, I gotta go. ;-) before my mother is going to hit me in the head (not litereally). *SMILE*

Still raining....

Yep, it has been raining and it will be like that all week again. OY!

I did had sinus infection. Is this me, or am I starting to notice that I have sinus/allergy during raining seasons?? Anyway, I'm taking antibodic(sp) and tomorrow is the last day for me to take the pill. I do feel so much better! I won't forget to take the last pill.

Meanwhile, at the researsal, I finally memorizes all the lines. I realize it was short... really short but it's challenge because, truth is, it is my first time I ever done in hearing adience(sp). Lately, I've been doing around deaf people and deaf audience(sp?). My point is, this is the first time for me.(did I already mention that? Obvious, it is.) I'm nervous everytime I show up for pratice, I'm nervous as I'm going for a real play. Yet, I force myself to go for it. After all, I did made a small cast but worth it. Funny thing is, I do enjoy it even I pratice same thing over and over. My question is, would I get bored later on?

Who knows? I will keep on going to see how it goes.

My family are doing good and so do I. Our pets are fine. They're rascals every time.

Rain, Rain, and Rain

OY! There's a lot of rain around here for couple of days. Lucky, I get to sleep in and my favorite thing to do is snuggle in bed and knowing there's raining outside.

Of course, we go nuts by staying in the house so we decided to eat out, today. Turn out, there are several spots have at least one foot of water height and other are about 2 inches high. Oh boy! That doesn't looks good. So, we decided to go drive thru fast-food resturant and come home instead. Mom and I order Taco Bell and Dad order humburger from the burger resturant (not the common chain resturant. It's different one.) Dad don't like Taco Bell. Mom and I do.
;-)

We got home and ate our dinner while watching weather channel. Possible flash floods and tornados and blah blah blah. According to weatherman, it will be like that for a whole week. OY! Oh Boy! I couldn't believe it. I hope there wouldn't be any flash floods around here.

Oh I do have pratice of the play tomorrow evening but I dunno if I'm be able to go or not. So, wait and see about that. I already email to the director so she'll know. Even though it may not be necessary but still I would like to let her know, anyway. There is a rule that suppose to request a permission for one person to go with you to the pratice so, I already did request that. Ihope that she'll respond cuz it is sorta last minute. I did email her in the evening.

I finally manged to memorize the first several sentences... Now I need to memorize the last few statements.

Well, anything else new?

My parents are doing fine. Oh, my mom did asked me, "How do you feel about moving to Alamaba(sp)?" I said, "go for it and... I will continue to stay and go to school here. I will come home to Alamaba(sp) on vaction times." Of course, my mom wants me to do that by staying here so I can finish my degree. I got so use to move a lot, anyway. So what?!

Of course, I would miss my friends... espeically someone from Missiouri. But don't worry, that wouldn't happen in next year and a half. So, we will have a chance to meet again in few times, if the time permits. ;-)

Oh, we were busy decorting the house and changing things around until my mom finally satified the formal living room. Now, we are focus on formal dining room. As well, we are focus on Guest Bedroom and Guest bathroom, that is including shower with tub. It's big bathroom and small guest bedroom. However, it's still nice and simple. The only thing we need to do is change the curtian and clean the bathroom. That's all.

Oh, since my friends are not be able to come on Aug 1st, I decided to postpone my last day of working until Aug 10th instead. So that way, I can have the extra money. To prepare for next several weeks.... and getting ready to go back to college and Memorial Day Weekend (or is it Labor Day Weekend? I couldn't remember. All I know those are Mondays day-off.) On that weekend, I would go to Atlanta. Whoo-hoo!

:-D

Busy!

I've been so busy and I could not able to go to that convention and workshop for the deaf.

Plus, I have no luck finding another job. At least, I straighten out the schudule. That's all that matters. Soon, I need to update my schudule and I will make sure it is unavailable on certain dates, too. That's including Weekend. I'm not working on weekend, anymore! If they put me on that working day, I will be blunt and said I'm unavialable and I've written down 2 weeks before. I'm sorry that I can't be there. Good luck for replacement.

It felt good to be home. It's nice to be home in the evenings. I enjoy hot meals dinner with my family. It's nice.

I finally able to swim.. Twice so far. My parents had swim several times. I missed swimming already. I know I'm free Monday and Tuesday so I'm going to take an advantage to swim, too. *smile* Hopefull, there isn't rain much. It has been raining on my off-days. That's another reason why I couldn't go to swim.

Speaking of busy, I better get back to do my errands.

Lost in Time

Wow!

After 2 years, I finally decided to contact someone whom I fell in love. I still do. That person had chosen to married someone else. I can't believe it. The reason why we cut off the connection is because of miscommunication and lack of understanding. Why in the world I contact that person after 2 years? It is because I felt there's unfinished buisness still hanging around in my heart. Plus, I felt ready to contact that person after I finally know who am I and gain my self-confordinant(strength). So, I did contact that person. I never thought I did but I did it.

Funny, that person was shocked and didn't think I wouldn't contact ever again. After few days, that person contact me and that's when we start discuss. I missed that person so much. It was great to hear from that person. After a long time of discuss, we decided to be best to be friends.

Part of me wishes that person would come and running but deep down, I know that will never going to happen. Yes, I'm disappointed. Yes, I did greive. Yes, I did cried softly and alone. My mom didn't know. At the same time, I felt so much better and more at peace, now.

It is diffcult to see someone you loved is in loved with someone else.

Floods

Wow! There were floods up in North Texas. Thank goodness, it didn't happened here. (Thanks to you, Dear God, for watching us.) Surprisely, the floods are not far from our home. There were a bad thunderstorm last night here. A real bad, the power went off and on ... then off and on... at last, it did turn off for a little while then back on. After a while, the thunderstorm started to quiet down. Oh, our swimming pool is overflowed, too. I mean there's a water on the patio from the swimming pool. Thank goodness it didn't flooded here. OY!

Speaking of Thunderstorm, I was in my bedroom with the door closed. I left Reese in the living room with the gate closed to prevent from her to coming through. Last night, seem like scared Reese shit out of her because she did knocked down the gate. According to my mom, she did hear the door bumping (their door is closed and go to their, not mine. Seem like she knows I'm deaf). My mom said that everytime there's a thunder sound the door was bumping. My mom thought that it was thundering shaking the door but it was really Reese, all along. Poor Reese. I should have known. I would let her come in my room for short time until the storm had passed. If she sees me calm then she is calm. I think that's why. Well, now I know.. from now on I will do that.

Well, I'm wide a wake from the napping in the afternoon. It sure felt good to stay home and do nothing for a day after I've been extremely busy for last few weeks. Just stay home for a day is wonderfully relax. Tomorrow and the rest of the week will be busy .... Again! Haha, I have to be careful of what I wish for sometimes, huh? Again, it's worth it. I feel more alive, somehow.

See ya later!

Don't taken for granted

Ya know what?

My mom is a big on "talking to EVERYBODY". Doesn't matter who... men, women, children, black, white... No matter. She talks to anyone. My mom told me that she spoke to one lady in ladies room. While mom washing her hands and the woman using curling iron to re-fix her hair. That lady was a manager by day and witress by night working the same resturant for 17 years and she's a single mom.

I was like... Oh boy! Don't take things for granted. I'm having luruxy life, right now. In fact, I'm off all week and going to pratice at the play. So far, I work one day a week and again next week. Oy! (Thank You, to dear God)

Speaking of pratice at the play... I went to pratice same scene... and I said "damn" again... when I suppose to say "freezing" Ugh! But afterward, I got it. I have to be careful.

Last Saturday pratice, it is different scene. I didn't memorize this time. I read from the book. Just like everybody else is doing it. Now I know what to memorize and this time I know I'll get it right.

Oh here's the funny part, There's crone voices and... doctor voice. Right after I said, "Good-bye, Annie" The Doctor is suppose to say the next line... for some reason that guy keep forgetting. He stood there and waiting for us to say something. The director told him that he suppose to say this line. He said, "oh!" blah blah blah... It is the same thing over again of the next pratice. (normally we pratice 6 times over and over. That's it.) He still made the same mistake. After I said, "Good-bye, Annie" I looked at him and pointed a finger at him, his face expression was like oh, that's right, I'm saying the next line.... "blah blah blah." I do not memorize his line. I memorize my line. We pratice again, the other girl (who's Crone number 2) she pointed finger at him, too. Hahaha. I laughed at his mistakes as well I lauged at mine. pppfffttttt

We all are not perfect.

Oh by the way, there's another deaf lady finally showed up; however, she knows... no sign language at all. She look like almost same age as I am. She's a massage therepist and she having hard time dealing with clinets because of her "accent" I can tell her "accent" is really not so great voice... It's more of....very much deaf person's voice. I was surprised that she managed without sign language. Deep down I know that she's strugge and I also know that she doesn't realize that because she grow accustomed to it for long time. It is best to use sign language when talking to costumers because I notice that they will be more open and say it more clearly. They seem will try to work with you as willing to meet half way with you. That make it a lot easier. If they don't know that I'm deaf, I notice they tend to be thinking that I'm rude when I'm not. It is easier that way for hearing people to know that there are some deaf people are working.

I felt sorry for her as well to a lot of deaf people who raised oral and never knew sign language. Part of me that I'm glad that I learned. Even though I did raised oral but it is best to combine. Teaching oral and sign language are the best thing in the world but that's just my opinion based on my experience.

:-)

Stress and Smile

(Look like I do have time to write this)I know I do. I'm so stress. I'm so nervous about going back to school as well pratice at the play. Even though, It wasn't the real play until July. However, I'm still nervous. I'm going to pratice again this coming Wed. I'm nervous.

I'm so nervous about going to University. I'm tempting not to go but deep down I have to because I want to and I want to graduate. Part of me don't want to go and part of me do want to go. *sigh* it is only about 2 months. I have to be patience and keep on going. Time will fly so fast before I know it.

You know? Everytime I feel nervous, I just remind myself to smile. I notice when I smile, it gave a booast of self-confidence and the nervous seem to reduce. Plus the smile helps to relax me. It works for me.

I can't believe this is summer already. The spring had gone. I wish there's some way I could.... Well, go back in time busomehow know there"s no way to go back in time. Time seems no longer slow, anymore. I wonder what the world be like in next 10 years as well as 20 years.

Today

At work, I found out that there's a new schudule for next 2 weeks. I checked. I found out that I'm working Wed and Sat. I can't work that 2 days. I have already written down I'm available only Sunday and Thursday. I decided to speak up. I spoke to the teamleader. He said that I must write that down two weeks advandance and I told him that I did. He was like.. Huh? So we went to look over the schudule. I told him there's written unavialdable those days but not on Wed and Saturday... but I'm unadvialable those days, too. Seem like they mess up with that. Because I only said I'm available ONLY Sunday and Thursday. That's all. I didn't say this is not my fault they put me in on Wed and Saturday. I made that clear I can't be there. (period) So, He did contact two different people who will take my place. Finally, he got it for me. I was relief. Pat my back for stand up this time. Pppffftttt. He also contact to the lady who put the schudule on computer to fix that so that way it will be until July 13th. The schudule will change, again. If somebody mess that up. I will stand up to it, too. I will not put it up with that anymore. I will make sure that I'm clear about my schudule of what I'm available and what's not.

Finally!

$$$$$$$

Funny, I just realize, everytime, we make plans to go to Mexico for vaction (or any places for vaction) or going to Georiga to visit family. My parents and I ended up talking about where to put our pets? How can we afford for their place to stay? Etc and etc. It ended up it's all about $$$$$ Money. Every subject of planning to do something is usually ended up $$$$.
I realize, we didn't go anywhere because of our pets. How in the world can we do for our pets??

Anyway, What a long week?! OY! I'm still busier as ever. So chances that I might not be able post blog as much as often.

Speaking of the play that I'm invovle, there's a word "damn" in the script. I was told to follow exact words from the script so I use that word "damn" People and kids were giggling. I was like... Well, what can I do? My director told me to use "freezing" instead. Again, I made a mistake I blab on "damn" instead of "freezing" until the last pratice, I finally get the word "freezing". There were still giggling every time I use the word "damn" Geez, I wish I was told before I memorize it. It makes it easier if I do. That way I wouldn't be making mistake and blab on "damn" word. *grin* Well, I do know that we are humans and we do make mistake. I do not like the idea of blab on cursing words front of kids. Oh well, seem like the kids know somehow. It was very interesting experiences and I met a few people along the way. One lady I had hard time understanding her, I found out that she have accents and she's from Noriewign(sp). There's a guy. After talking to him, I found out that he can be measiouvious(devilish) in him. He's cute. Oh, there's volunteer interpreter came. I was surprised that she's there. I didn't expect that. It was very nice of them to contact interpreter to come over. It is very helpful. I also found out that there will be newspaper about me in the play. OY! I was thinking, I'm getting famous, now. Haha. I mean, I was in newspaper in Kiderngarden(sp), High School, beauty paragent(sp), Internship, and now this. What's next?

There's so much to do this summer. I have dr appointments, VR appoitment, School appointment, Reese and Tom-Tom's vet appointment, I have other appointments. I have many different things that cramed up this month. Can you believe? I sorta wish I didn't postpone my previous dr appointment. Oh I have another appointments(did I mention that already?). I feel like there's a cartoon train in my head that said over and over, "I think, I can. I think, I can. I think, I can. I think, I can. I think, I can. I think, I can. I think, I can. I think, I can. I think, I can. I think, I can. I think, I can. I think, I can." Why in the world I pick the most busiest moment in my life is this summer? Why don't I join the play last summer, after all, I didn't do anything last summer. Only thing I do was swim, swim, swim, swim almost everyday. This past month, I only swim one day. That's it. Just one day worth to swim. I couldn't believe it. Hahahahahahahahaha. Oh well, at least, I did enjoy my moments last year summer and even just one day swim this month. Oh, it is only June the 8th so, there's a time. I hope.
********************************************************************************
I'm so glad there's re-run shows. Sadly, Stargate haven't finished up, yet. Because it suppose to start March but postpone to April. Now everything postpone for this month to finish. Guess what? I missed my favorite show tonight (which is stargate), already! Well, there's always re-run.... and there's a chance for me to buy it once the DVD comes out. When life is busy, sometimes, you just have no choice but to miss the show but the show must go on and so do we.

Live goes on and on and on and on and on and on............... For some reason, I know I would enjoy this summer.

Honey

I rememberd that about a month ago, I did have allgery popped up. My nose was runny and sore throat. First thing, I did was drinking Lipton Green Tea with cirtus bottle. I notice how that drink really soothing to my throat. When I stop drinking, my sore throat came back so I kept on drinking and drinking. I kept on buying until end of the day, my sore throat was gone. I was so glad. Plus, I did take allergy medication for my nose before I know it, I feel so much better.
I realize I didn't drink that bottle so I decided to buy a pack of 12 bottles. By the way, it contains honey, too. According to my mom said that to help the sore throat it is highly recommend to have honey/lemon drops. No wonder, plus the green tea has highly antioxidants, too. Tonight, I feel so much better already after drinking 3 bottles. It's worth it. My nose and throat are getting better. My energy is coming back. From now on, if there's a slight possible of allergy popping up, I will get those quickly as possible. So, that will help heal up quickly.

Speaking of honey, back in the acient times during egypt, there's a man named Imhotep. He's scientist himself. According to the Explorer channel that I watch, he wrote down everything for medical. Archology did found many bones that had been repaired back nicely compare with others that doesn't. Imhotep used honey over wounds. Honey helps killed the baterica. I learned something new about that. That attract my attention.

Anyway, I missed work for couple of days as well as my first day of rehersal because of my sinus infection was affecting me. I couldn't funcution. Of course, I have a lot of rest and sleep for couple of days helped to build my immune system, too. Thank goodness it was shorter period. Sometimes, I really don't like longer period because it does bored out of my mind. Flu, I wouldn't be bored but sinus infection, I'm too bored to stay in bed and yet I don't have energy to get up and do something.
I think I'm ready to go back to work tomorrow. Maybe a little bit late to be sure I am not so weak by then.

Speaking of work, I better get to bed, early.

Allergies

Don't you hate that?!? I do! Urg, when it comes so much rain, I mean it was pouring for nearly few months. I never thought this is TEXAS could be rain so much here. So that means.... Mold's pores, Oh Gawd, I'm soooo allgergic to mold's pores as much as the dust. How can I breath that thing? Well, for one thing for certain, I couldn't sleep last night. None of the allegry medication is helping me... WAHHHHH. Yeah, poor me, I couldn't sleep. Nose runny and sniffing and stopped up, I couldn't breath. When I breath thru the mouth, it will get so dry.... Okay... enough with that.

I went to work today still feeling gorggy and tired. I still keep on working and working. Until my team leader told me, go home early. Of course, I had my eyes wide open unexpected that my TL told me to go home early. HECK!! Why not? So I left at 9pm tonight.

Thanks to that sweet TL. He's really a sweetie and very kind but sometimes he can be a flirt, too. Still, he's a sweetheart and very understandable. I'm so lucky to have him there tonight. I wonder if he notice how tried I was as well as hard worker. *s* That Sweet TL is usually take his time to explain things that I didn't know about. Others TL didn't explain and one/several of my co-workers act like they don't know anything every once in a while.

Like I said, that sweet TL let me go home early. It is very nice!
