I arrived to the doctor office. I discovered that the doctor is no longer accepting medicaid. I was confused. I said, I've been here for 3 years and been used my medicaid. Whoever behind the desk told me, I know we did but not anymore. Do you have any other insurance. I said no and they refuse to accept me. I was like. What's going on.

So I went to library to check under government website to find lists of doctors would accept medicaid.

Guess what??

I've been calling all the doctors that had been listed under government website. None of them accepted. They used to but not anymore...

I was like what's going on??!!! Seem to me I'm behind or I'm just watching more about president and VP

So I check out on website news... I found out that here in Texas 60% and increasing that doctors refuse accept medicaid.

It's all started in Illionis. There's lawsuit suing doctors for taking advantage government's money. Patients who waiting by hours have to pay. So doctor just making patients who has medicaid will be paying by hours causing more money paying by government. So doctors are afraid to use medicaid from it.

Aargghhhh!!!!

I also read that poor woman from Illionis who has a husband broke his back and couldn't work for long time until it heals. She and her husband with 3 kids have medicaid. And she couldn't find any doctor wld accpet medicaid for her kids get sick, flu, infection, and etc.

Since medicaid isn't accepted by doctor. Children could die or sick could got worest and finally able to take hosptial as in ER. That isn't good. However, I did called one and one accept medicaid only 17 or under, not adults. *sigh*
